Chapel of the Souls

This chapel, situated in the place of the Two, although being a private chapel, is open to the cult. Its construction was ordered by José de Pinho de Carvalho, the place of the Top d’ Village and one can not exclude the hypothesis of their origin have been an oratory of the path.
Dating from the EIGHTEENTH century is a chapel of the regional type, composed of the body, the sanctuary, and a small sacristy on the right side. The ashlars in the corners on the door lintel, in the top window erected under the port of entry, and in the most vain and enhance the exterior appearance. On the right side a staircase gives access to the choir.

On the inside, the arc – cruise is the treaty on cushions races. An altarpiece from the end of the SEVENTEENTH century has the center carved Panel of the Souls and on the sides of S. Peter, to the right, and S. Paul, to the left.
This chapel continues to remain the property of the descendants of Joseph Pine, Oak, and following the original design sent in to restore in 1989
