The chapel of the Martyr saint Sebastian is located relatively close to the parish Church of São Pedro de Castelões.
Has a date inscribed at the top of the front of the chapel, probably the year in which the chapel may have been built, we can situate us in the late EIGHTEENTH century until the middle of the century XIX. THE holder of the chapel is what gives the name to the place where she stood, the Martyr. In 1890 it was rebuilt the old chapel, by João Augusto Pereira Pinto.
Its exterior is composed of simple lines, following the usual composition, it displays on the front two panels of tiles with two images of saints, a small circular window above the main door, pilasters in the corners and a cross at the apex of the front. In its interior has a wooden floor, lambril of blue tiles and wooden ceiling section polygonal. The altarpiece prior to the construction of the Chapel woodwork painted white and gold with four solomonic columns on pedestals with bas-reliefs hagiográficos that fall corbels to the images on the front of the altar of carved recent. In Honor of the Martyr St. Sebastian is always held the Party on the 20th of January.
