This, situated in Coelhosa, began its construction on 8 September 1899. Although its architectural style is unknown, we can say that on the outside is the main door facing South, as in almost all catholic churches. In front of the main door has the image of the Immaculate Conception on a pedestal of granite. A little above the posts, and almost in the middle line transversal to the façade has niches house the images of St. Sebastian (to the right) and St. Anne (left side). Above these images, between the arch of the window of the choir and the stresses inside of the front triangular, is placed a headstone with the following text: “Glory tibi, domine - MDCCCC”. It also has a triangular pediment, having on the upper vertex a garland from which hang two ribbons symbolic in the form of a loop, and on its summit stands a cross. The tower has three bells. The stairs to the tower were built on the outside, by the back side, to the entrance of the chorus; hence, up, up to the platform where are the bells, the steps are the interiors, in the form of a spiral.
In its interior has two elegant granite columns, topped by capitals in the corinthians, that serve of support to the choir, built in wood. A large chandelier, hanging from the ceiling, all painted sky blue on the which highlight various ornaments. The baptismal font built in granite is on the right and to the left, in a venue jam in the bottom of the tower, the image of the Mr. of the Steps.
Half way to the chapel, stand two pulpits carved in wood. Two large chandeliers pending from the ceiling to illuminate the whole area of the temple. After you are two beautiful altars; the altar of the right, the image of Our Lady of Good Voyage, on the left the image of the Sacred Heart of Mary. The high altar, the more rich and sumptuous than the previous ones, contain the images of São Gonçalo and the Nossa Senhora da Soledade, and the Sacred Heart of Jesus and St. Joseph. Below these it also has Our Lady of Fatima, St. Jude Thaddeus and St. John de Brito. To the sides, at the top of the four columns, which ornament the high altar, bearing two angels holding a banner that reads: “Glory in Celsis Deo”.
A chandelier finishes the rich apparatus of the chancel. Finally, almost at the foot of the gate that gives the output of the sacristy, a small altar that belonged to the old chapel and on the which state are deposited in the image of Our Lady of Light (or Lady of the O), Santa Catarina and são Gonçalo (patron of the chapel).About two years after the start of its construction, the Chapel was solemnly blessed by the Bishop of Porto, D. António José de Sousa Barrosa, on 24 August 1902. The Festival is held usually on the 2nd Sunday of August and the procession will not go to a cruise, but will give back to the Chapel of Souls, in Two.
