The chapel of N S Piety

It is located in Macinhata, and the date of the beginning of the century XVIII.
With features typical of the chapels and the rural is composed of the body, the sanctuary, the sacristy on the right side, having the bell placed at the apex of the façade. The corners treaties in pilasters and door rectangular on top of which stands a cross. In front of the main facade, in the churchyard, has a cruise type ordeal with the year 1715 inscribed on the base, corresponding, probably, to the date of the construction of the chapel.
According to the inscription on one of the pilasters of the triumphal arch, was enlarged in 1844 with the construction of the chapel-mor by a disruption of the arch of the wall from the top as well as the construction of the body of the sacristy.
On the inside, the arc – cruise is pillow races. The altarpiece dates from the end of the century. CENTURY, having been restored, and seeing it on the pedestals of the columns, Santa Barbara and Santa Catarina. The image of the patron saint is already in the second century XX. In 1976 were renovated and roofs with concrete slab and removal of the cornices of friezes in granite, the construction of the bodies of attachments connected to the main chapel, the widening of the cracks in the side elevations of the nave and the placement of lambril tile industrial in the interior.
